Alassio is located in the province of Savona on the Italian Rivera. Approximate arrival time by train is two hours from Nice, six hours from Milan, and eight hours from Rome. Tennis players will have the opportunity to play on the red clay at two of the worlds classic tennis clubs, The Hanbury Racquet Club in Alassio, and the Monte Carlo Country Club in Monaco.

The escorted group will depart Rome at 9AM and will arrive in Alassio late afternoon on May 9. (Time subject to change). We’ll check into the hotel and then take the five minute walk to the club for a welcome dinner party.(It will still be light enough for anyone who would like to hit some balls before dinner)

Red Clay Tennis Program
This is a great opportunity to enjoy singles or doubles match play on the immaculate Red Clay courts at the Hanbury Tennis Club. We guarantee the opportunity to play with people each day at your level or higher. Several tennis pros will be on hand to mix in and help organize enjoyable parings with fellow travelers and local club members  
(You may also organize your own singles or doubles games.)

Optional Tennis Camp with USPTA Professionals
Tennis Lesson Option with
USPTA Professionals $200 includes:
      Two hours of morning tennis camp from 8:30am-10:30am
      on May 10,11,12. Afternoon Strategy and Play.

The lesson program will include technical training for all levels plus singles and doubles strategies. A low ratio of students per coach allows the intensity and concentration necessary for high quality instruction! An average of four to one is our intention. The ratio may vary depending on the level of players in certain groups.

Hanbury Tennis Club
Founded in 1923, The Hanbury Tennis Club is a place that lived through the “romantic age of Tennis”, with such champions as Australia’s Hopman, America's Tilden and home grown Italian champion Pietrangeli. The colonial style clubhouse and ancient walls are framed in roses and geraniums which are constantly in bloom.
